Our Waistbeads
We sell a variety of West African String Waistbeads. Our beads are hand made in Ghana and are usually between 50 and 60 inches of plastic beads on cotton string. We’ve categorized the waistbeads by the thickness or width of the beads.
VOLUMINOUS is the thickest bead MEDIUM is a mid sized bead and THIN are thinner beads. All waistbeads regardless of thickness should be comfortable when fitted correctly.
SIZING
Properly fitting your beads to your body type is crucial in waistbead wearing. Regardless of your intention behind wearing waistbeads COMFORT MUST come first.
We recommend leaving enough room for your hand to slide through your waistbeads.
